Looks like no one has left any love here yet, so I’ll be the first. I just received (today) the 104: 49″ bare blade, and I am quite pleased. I don’t have the setup to heat treat a blade that large right now, and I have been eyeballing Darksword Armory’s works for a while. I am looking to fit with my own hilt and scabbard, and was pleasantly surprised to discover they actually gave me a couple extra inches in the tang to play with in case I want a longer grip. On top of that, the blade has a mirror polish, well-formed geometry, excellent flexibility, and even a decent sharpened edge. I am a very satisfied customer, and would definitely purchase again or reccommend to others.

I just got the 36” blade (part#103) as a project. Shipping was incredibly fast, as I live in Missouri and the total shipping time was less than a week from Canada! WOW. The blade showed up wrapped in a protective material and boxed extremely well, nothing would have damaged the product in shipping short of a volcanic eruption! Now to the blade itself. This thing is a piece of fine art. I’m amazed at how beautifully crafted it is. It’s perfectly proportioned, the fullers on each side are perfectly symmetrical along with the overall shape of the blade. It has beautiful distal taper along with profile taper. It arrived sharp, which is a big bonus as I was expecting a blunt edge. It has a near mirror polish and the engraving on the blade is second to none. The blade flexes and returns true every time. I don’t know how to put into words how well made and beautiful this blade is, but all I can say is that I will forever more recommend Darksword Armory as they have impressed me beyond words. The only thing that worries me at this point is making a good enough hilt to match the quality of Darksword’s blade!!!

Just got the #4 blade. Polished really well and crisp lines all the way down. It is heat treated. Can’t wait to put a sword together.
