The Cut-and-thrust sword still in production. Expected delivery for the first batch is March/April 2016. We are currently accepting pre-orders. The sword has been reproduced from the original specs, currently on display at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
The Cut and thrust arming sword is hand forged in India from EN-45 Spring Steel and tempered to a Rockwell of 48-50. Hand made under Darksword guidelines to create a balance between affordability and functionality, the handle and Scabbard of the arming sword are made in Montreal Canada, in the Darksword Armory shop.
The sword can be used for actual combat as well as for cutting targets when ordered sharp. The guard and pommel are made in Mild Steel. The grip is made of Oak and wrapped in black leather.
